Conflict Mitigation and Democratic Participation: Engaging Youth and Women in Good Governance
As part of broader efforts to promote inclusive governance and sustainable development, Caritas Nigeria, through its Institutional Capacity Strengthening (ICS) Unit, has commenced a four-day training for staff of the Bakhita Initiative (JDPC Sokoto).
Empowering Change: Bakhita Initiative Staff Undergo project management for development professionals Training Facilitated by the ICS manager Abang Moses under the Capacity Management Project funded by CRS and Caritas Germany. This training is designed to build organizational capacity for improved service delivery.
Day one of the training focused on the fundamentals of project management, introducing participants to key principles of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Through interactive sessions and practical discussions, participants began their journey toward more efficient and impact-driven programming.
This initiative strengthens local institutions while enhancing the role of youth and women in conflict mitigation and democratic participation.
Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
