As part of the Bodossaki Foundation‘s collaboration with the international organization PM4NGOs, with the aim of further strengthening the organizational capacity of civil society organizations, in September 2024, the Bodossaki Foundation’s Social Dynamo announced the launch of an international certification training program in Project Management for NGOs (Project DPro).

A total of 120 organizations submitted applications for the training and certification of 244 executives through the Program. From November 2024 to November 2025, six training and certification cycles were held in collaboration with four certified Social Dynamo trainers.

The gradual implementation of the cycles allowed for the smooth distribution of participants and the monitoring of their progress in successive stages. In total, 114 organizations with 195 executives participated in the six cycles, of which 172 took the certification exams, with 85.4% (147 individuals) receiving certification.

The data show consistently high participation and increased commitment of executives to completing the certification process.

One month after the completion of each cycle, participants were asked to complete an evaluation questionnaire to assess the extent to which the training had affected their project management skills. The data from the first five cycles are indicative of the value of the Program:

  • 98% of certified professionals stated that the quality of the project plans they develop after training has improved
  • 86% of executives reported greater confidence in project management after certification
  • 84% of executives stated that the program contributed to improving their management skills

These findings confirm that certification is not only an educational tool, but also an effective mechanism for organizational development, with immediate changes in the way projects are designed, organized, and monitored.
