The existence of organizations specialized in providing professional certifications that contribute to workforce development is an urgent necessity. The importance of these organizations doubles when they specialize in advancing the developmental sector, given the scarcity of bodies dedicated to training its workforce. These organizations work to empower skill-based capabilities and transform unsustainable practices into professional, institutional, and sustainable development work. This, in turn, helps entities meet institutional sustainability requirements and subsequently achieve financial sustainability, increase operational efficiency, and elevate the quality of services provided by institutions within the developmental sector.

Looking at the reality of the PM4NGOs organization, we find that it plays a pivotal role in advancing the developmental sector by standardizing and developing project management standards specifically for developmental organizations and entities. The organization’s core importance lies in capacity building and professionalization. It provides globally recognized training programs and professional certifications, offering guides and frameworks tailored specifically to the nature of developmental (nonprofit) projects—which differ fundamentally from commercial projects—thereby ensuring that sustainability goals and social impact are effectively achieved.

As this PM4NGOs experiences continuous expansion in empowering its various professional certifications, it faces a steady increase in demand due to the growing number of beneficiaries worldwide. This makes it imperative for the PM4NGOs to develop its methodologies and business models while expanding access. Doing so will secure institutional and financial sustainability requirements, enabling it to scale its services to all institutions within the nonprofit sector.

Driven by this vision, PM4NGOs launched a developmental initiative to establish regional Hubs worldwide. From this initiative came the idea to establish the Regional Hub for the Middle East and North Africa, headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the framework of a partnership between the CIFAL Saudi Arabia Center and PM4NGOs. The PM4NGOs Regional Hub in the Middle East organizes all the organization’s activities and various certifications offered to beneficiaries across the Middle East region.

As the PM4NGOs Regional Hub in the Middle East and North Africa launches its activities following its establishment, it is delighted to contribute to providing services that will foster the development of nonprofit sector organizations throughout this region.
