Hub Ambassador – PM4NGOs Côte d’Ivoire
Fondateur, BIFA Institute
Message from the Hub Ambassador
For years, I have observed a persistent reality across the continent: talented, committed, and ambitious professionals who did not always have access to the standards, tools, and certifications needed to transform their potential into lasting impact.
The challenge has never been a lack of talent. It has so often been a lack of access.
It is this conviction that has guided my commitment to professional training and capacity development. Through BIFA Institute, founded in 2021, we have worked to make international standards more accessible to professionals and organizations, with nearly 1,000 professionals trained and more than 27 institutions supported across Côte d’Ivoire and the sub-region.
The PM4NGOs Côte d’Ivoire Hub is part of this momentum, with a broader ambition: to help build a Francophone community of practitioners committed to excellence in development and humanitarian project management.
By bringing together professionals, organizations, institutions, academic partners, and students around the DPro methodologies Project DPro, Program DPro, MEAL DPro, and Finance DPro our Hub aims to sustainably strengthen local and regional capacities.
Côte d’Ivoire, the leading economy in Francophone West Africa and a strategic anchor for numerous development organizations, provides a natural setting for this initiative. Yet our ambition extends beyond our borders: to build, together with the entire PM4NGOs network, an ecosystem of professionals capable of designing, steering, and evaluating high-impact projects across Francophone Africa.
We are only just beginning. And I invite you to be part of this journey.

Context
In Côte d’Ivoire and across the Francophone world, strengthening capacities in development project management has become a necessity in the face of the region’s social, economic, and environmental challenges.
A lack of methodological standardisation, limited coordination among stakeholders, and restricted access to specialised training can hinder the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at lasting impact.
Côte d’Ivoire, the leading economy in Francophone West Africa, is home to numerous national and international organisations, development agencies, technical and financial partners, academic institutions, and civil society actors. This concentration of stakeholders makes the country a strategic anchor from which to build a DPro practitioner community across Francophone Africa.
The PM4NGOs Côte d’Ivoire Hub facilitates cooperation between local and international organisations, academic institutions, businesses, and professionals, with the aim of creating a learning, exchange, and collaboration ecosystem in service of development.
