PM4NGOs, the international organisation specialised in capacity building for development and humanitarian project management, is currently working towards the official launch of its Hub Côte d’Ivoire, based in Abidjan. The official launch is scheduled for 12 septembre 2026. In this context, Fidèle ADJOUMANI has been appointed to support the development and structuring of this initiative, in close collaboration with the international PM4NGOs teams.
STRATEGIC CONTEXT
A Strategic Foothold in Francophone Africa
Present in 170 countries, with more than 43,000 certified professionals and more than 56,000 DPro examinations completed worldwide, PM4NGOs continues to expand its international network and is working towards the progressive structuring of a DPro practitioner community across Francophone West Africa.
As the leading economy in Francophone West Africa, Abidjan is home to a significant number of international organisations, United Nations agencies, and development programmes funded by the European Union, the World Bank, USAID, the AFD, and GIZ. More than 300 organisations national and international are actively engaged in development and humanitarian work across the country.

LOCAL LEADERSHIP
A Hub Led by a Field-Rooted Professional
Since BIFA Institute was founded in 2021, nearly 1 000 professionnels professionals have been trained and more than 27 institutions institutions supported, including international organisations, companies, and development structures active in Côte d’Ivoire and across the sub-region.

ROADMAP
A Long-Term Regional Vision
The launch of PM4NGOs Côte d’Ivoire is grounded in a strategic roadmap developed jointly with PM4NGOs International. In the medium term, the initiative aims to actively contribute to strengthening the capacities of professionals and organisations involved in development and humanitarian projects throughout Francophone West Africa.
The Hub will bring together development organisations, institutions, and companies engaged in impact-driven projects, as well as young professionals and students, around shared standards and common practices.

This event will mark a significant milestone in the professionalisation of development project management in Francophone Africa. It will bring together several hundred participants drawn from the public sector, the private sector, academia, non-governmental organisations, and international institutions, around a shared ambition:
