On September 24, PM4NGOs joined hundreds of professionals from Brazil’s social sector at the Encontro do Terceiro Setor 2026, organized by Fundação Dom Cabral in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais.

This year’s gathering focused on Institutional Development, bringing together leaders, managers, board members, executives, and specialists to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing civil society organizations. The conversations explored topics such as management, governance, sustainability, leadership, technology, and the different ways organizations can strengthen their capacity to respond to complex realities.

Representing PM4NGOs, our Marketing and Communications Manager, Cecília, took part in the event and had the opportunity to exchange experiences with professionals working across different areas of the sector. The event was also a valuable moment to reconnect with and meet members of the DPro community, strengthening relationships around a shared interest in practical, effective approaches to managing social impact projects and organizations.

For PM4NGOs, spaces like the Encontro do Terceiro Setor are important because institutional strengthening is closely connected to the ability of organizations to plan, manage, learn, adapt, and deliver meaningful results. Knowledge becomes even more valuable when it is shared across organizations, sectors, and experiences.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this conversation and to connect with so many people contributing to the development of Brazil’s social sector.

We look forward to continuing these exchanges and building stronger connections across the DPro community.
